One year almost to the day Karen met her long term weight loss goal. This woman is dedicated, determined, hard working, and seriously awesome. We could all learn a few lessons from her. When she started working out with me at Mash Elite Performance she wanted to lose around 50 pounds. And let me tell you- she lost weight every single week. Even the week after Thanksgiving and Christmas she was down! She took a couple week long trips out of the country and still LOST. Determined.
When she hit the 50 pound mark she decided she wanted to lose 10 more- and she did. And so, one year after she started training she has lost 60! pounds, lots of pant sizes, and gained tremendous strength and mobility.
Part of her success is keeping her food journal. Never once in one year (even when traveling out of the country) did she forgo keeping her food journal! Never once! And she sent it to me every Sunday night before her Monday morning weigh in. She strength trains three days a week at Mash Elite and bikes and runs in the evenings with her husband. She has made a complete LIFESTYLE change.
